FACTS. - Ingersolls and LeMel bought land from General giving a note and trust deed for much of the price. The land was situated
on both sides of a street that the city vacated, vesting title in abutting landowners. LeMel quitclaimed its interest to Patterson
in 1979, but Patterson did not record the deed until March 1982. Meanwhile, the note fell in arrears and General began a trust
deed foreclosure by filing a notice of default that did not mention the vacated street land. Ingersolls quitclaimed the adjoining
land but not the street to LeMel, and LeMel filed bankruptcy. Its bankruptcy trustee conveyed the street and adjoining lands
to General in June of 1982. General conveyed the street and adjoining lands to Interstate. PROCEEDINGS. - Interstate sued Patterson to quiet title to the vacated street land, and Ingersolls moved to intervene. The
district court denied intervention and held in summary judgment that Patterson had no interest. Patterson and Ingersolls moved
to correct the order or for a new trial, but their motion was held improper under URCP 59. Patterson and Ingersolls filed
notice of appeal less than 30 days after denial of their post-trial motion but more than 30 days after the dispositive order.
